Here you will find our range of German courses (DaF) and additional international courses.

Internship in Okinawa

We offer a 6- to 8-week internship program at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa from May to July 2026 or October to December 2026.

Intensive German Course for HHU Partner Universities

From April to July 2026, we are offering intensive German courses at levels A1 and A2+ for exchange students from our partner universities at HHU.

German courses for Erasmus students (before the start of the semester)

Before the semester begins, we offer special German courses exclusively for Erasmus students.

German as a Foreign Language

We offer various German courses for international students. The offer includes courses from basic to advanced level and different focuses such as grammar or writing training.

TestDaF

Unfortunately, we do not offer the TestDaF exam in the current semester.

German as a Foreign Language Summer and Winter School

In our summer and winter courses, international students can learn, refresh or improve their German language skills.

The program is complemented by insights into intercultural regional studies and everyday culture.

Language Tandem

In our language tandems, two participants teach each other their native language without pressure and with free time management.

We help you to find your language partners.

International researchers

In cooperation with JUNO, language courses are offered exclusively for international doctoral candidates, postdocs, professors and guest researchers.

German courses for refugees

We offer German courses for refugees who wish to take up a regular course of study in Germany. This programme covers levels B1 to C1.
